    I checked ebay but couldn't find the listing. I am just curious in learning more about it. Is this something that could be completed into a functioning vehicle? How different is it from the actual race cars?

    Hi I have not put on Ebay yet, I meant wheels alone are worth around $9K on Ebay. I will put car on Ebay tomorrow. This is a steal! I don't know about your other question. The car that races goes for over $1M + with engine etc. This is a Deal! Call if buyer easier 805-754-7264

    Display cars are usually just shells with a framework underneath to hold up the body. I cannot attest to what panoz used (maybe the first tub?) Compare with an LMP-1 picture that's in full racing trim. Where's the body latches? lmpdesigner should chime in to what this really is.

    Basically a 1:1 scale model, minus powertrain I guess.

    Yes but it does have many real parts on it, wheels, seat etc like big Go Kart. $25K I think is a good deal car looks crazy looks like $1M.

    I don't know laws road legal or what but Yes you can add Engine and few parts to drive it like a Go Kart or whatever? Car is worth every penny and is in mint condition. If interested call Me I`m waiting for a Panoz Collector From U.K. to buy next week. Thanks 805-754-7264

    Have read the entire thread and still not sure if this is basically a body on a metal jig or if it is a complete chassis without the engine and transmission? Maybe some pics of what is under the skin would answer the question very quickly.

    Thank you. I think understandable to not post a pic of the jig. Probably, and reasonably, unnecessary.

    There's been more salesman hyperbole than actual details from the seller. At least MELS is consistent!

    A listing on another site says "Simulated dash and Sparco steering wheel. Has mock up display frame".

    It sounds like it will take a bit more than a few parts to make it driveable if it doesn't even have a frame.

    At the risk of violating the policy on criticizing classifieds it sounds like the "seller" knows almost nothing about this item. Seller is in quotes because this same display car is for sale on the web at canamcars<dot>com.

    Well that was rather rude. Your posts in this thread have been misleading, you don't seem to know all that much about what you are selling, and you've come across as a rather tacky used car salesman. My "interest" in your product is nil but I do have an interest in giving other members here the knowledge to make an informed decision about questionable listings. GLWS.
