2009 Trailex Aluminum Enclosed Car Trailer

With my 360C sold I no longer need my trailer. Pull with almost any SUV. Excellent condition.

    Black, CTE-80180

    Options:
    • 6” additional height.
    • Spare tire rack, holds four easy.
    • Under floor, locking, flush mount, storage compartment.
    • Warn 3700 winch.
    • Wireless winch controller.
    • Aluminum wheels.
    • Spare tire, steel wheel.
    • New NAPA deep cycle battery, May 2017, built-in battery vent box, battery is charged by tow vehicle, always on a battery tender when parked.
    • Emergency brake-away battery replaced a couple years ago.
    • All exterior lights are LED.
    • I have the bulbs to update all interior lights with LED bulbs, included if I don’t get them installed.
    • Pit-Pal storage racks on each front door.
    • Pit-Pal jack storage rack on rear wall.
Summer of 2012 a poplar dropped a limb on the roof. Widest part of cleaned up hole is about 8” and patch piece is 12” x 24”. It did not hit a roof support beam so basically a flesh wound. Simple fix, see pictures. No leaks.

Asking $14,500. Trailer is in Maryland. Thanks.

    Trailer is still available.

I installed the LED bulbs and they look great. Wish I had done this a while ago. Simple update that makes a big difference.
New pics - first is with new LEDs, second is LEDs and old bulbs (big difference!), third is full trailer LEDs, fourth is the storage compartment, and last are M&R Tie-Downs I'm including. Also will include some Mac's straps I have.

A couple of questions that might help with this sale, is this trailer a 20' or 24' ? Also, does this trailer have ramps, if so what length are they? What is this trailers empty weight? Good luck with the sale, had I not just purchased a Jimglo trailer I might be interested.

Jimglo trailers are nice. I’ve seen one up close.
Length is 22’6” and it has 11’ ramps. Weight is 2100 lbs (assuming the same weight as the current 84180 on the trailex website).
The more recent HD trailer is 24’ and weighs 2700 lbs.
let me know of other questions.

Are you interested in a partial trade for an aluminum tilt deck trailer with polished aluminum fairing ,custom polished aluminum tool box/winch box? It's less than a year old. only used 5 times. Where in Md is it located?

    Ron,
I’ve moved away from the need for a trailer so don’t think I’ll do a trade for another one. I Keep telling myself not to sell it but I don’t need it. PM me if you’d like to look at it. It’s in the Baltimore area.

Thanks, it's been super easy to use and has given me no problems. They have a great reputation. It'll find a good home.

I looked over past events when I used it, mainly longer trips to VIR and Watkins Glen, some local cars and coffee, and some service visits. I'm estimating, very generously, a max of about 8,000 miles on the trailer. Hope this helps.

Great trailer - all alum what could happen (other then mice eating the wiring in winter) - just curious did it have torsion bar suspension? If so milage other then tires is really irrevelent

Not sure on the suspension. I'd have to look it up on the Trailex site. And yes, tires were needed, they were original and still in good shape, just older. And being aluminum it's exactly like when I bought it in 2009. Awesome trailers. It got a lot of interest on Rennlist.

I'm sure they are torsion bar no axles - I lived in the keys for 46 years and thats all we used - no Axel trailers
They would rust out in not time - original designed for Airstream trailers years ago
