    Hello F-Chaters!

Is anyone using their FF/Lusso regularly for ski weekends? With proper tires and plowed roadways I think it would be a very comfortable and enjoyable choice, but I have yet to find a good solution to transport skis.

    Any advice to share?

    Best regards,
    -randy

lots of threads about snow usage - with snows the car is an animal. you can go anywhere the height permits.

    Randy,

Mine spends 4 weeks in the ski resort over the season. Have managed to always get home in style even in a blizzard, ELEV is useful when there is a lot of snow in less cleaned roads and paths. My only issue is that I change the battery before the season starts, which is relevant if you leave it out a lot in very low temperatures for long periods eg overnight.

With winter tires my car has been in Tahoe several years once during a snowstorm ! No problems at all, that’s why I love my car and use it daily
There are faster cars and faster Ferrari’s but for all around and year round usability nothing like the FF

Try the following to transport skis:

    https://www.seasucker.com/

The only thing I am worrying about is what the sub-par oem battery will do after sitting sub-zero degrees overnight.

What other battery can you install to minimize the issues with the Lisso sitting for a week?

The two battery models I have heard from forum members who have installed one are: Interstate and DieHard. There is a thread within the past week on it with specific battery model#.

I use seasucker and its pretty good. Stable even at speed. Even put it on my F430 to take it up to Tahoe once, non snow day though... Wish I have an FF to actually go up on a Image Unavailable, Please Login snow day haha
