Rumours about 488 VS having 710 to 725 hp, let's open the bets.

Well in one quarterly call (2nd qtr this year I belive) Sergio Marchionne mentioned they have a car in the pipeline that is a throwback to their styling roots and claimed it would even bring back the vintage buyer who abandoned them on their new offerings, this may be the car. Looks spectacular!!

I assumed he was referring to the Portofino.

It could be a mule or early version of the Dallara Stradale... Just a guess

So far, not bad at all. But I hope they come up with new design side mirrors for this car. I really don't like the 458/488 mirrors

Plus, while the front looks very good, I was hoping to see more extreme aero and possibly a rear wing as well. If Ferrari wants to be competitive with new McLaren and Porsche super cars, they need to add more than a Turbo boost. These may not be the ultimate shape of the car but I am hoping that they will add more radical changes to the design. An active retractable rear wing would be nice and very useful to have if they want to be very fast on tracks.

Retractable rear wing OMG what is ****, i hope never seen this on Ferrari. the solution on Laf is the best for the design, if you want radical sport car buy challenge, fxxk or F1. Radical car for daily use is no sens for me

What I meant is something like they have on LaFerrari, Ford GT, nothing extreme. Plus I already have a 488 Challenge but I want something more radical which I is street legal and fast for track use. If I want something for DD I'd go with a standart 488 or better for a Lusso

Personally I think that an active spoiler will come, if not for the 488 VS, surely for the successor, 498/499. It's in line with the style od Ferrari and really useful, being developed in the FXXK and LAF, so, sooner or later, we will have an aerobrake.

These two cars are very advanced prototypes of the 488VS,but not the very last version.
