    Quick one guys: do you think there are differences between cat delete pipes? I know the difference in price isn’t probably justified but i wanted to ask your expertise and thoughts?
    Capristo? Tubi? No brand?

    Nope. Mine was decatted before. No CEL. I got ansa test pipes. Just wondering if some are better than others;)

    Early TRs have no check engine light. I don't know when they received them. Maybe 1995?

    If the test pipes are straight thru. and the same dia. So probably no difference. The ones with resonators maybe just are quieter.

    If you only slap on the test pipes there will be no difference in sound or probably power. I found a set for cheap and did the swap......no difference in sound and I couldnt tell any HP gain.

    I agree as far as hp but when i had mine own it was louder, much louder;)

    You need to lose the precats too. They are the sound and power thieves. Several companies make them, I think mine are Capristo.

    I run tubi pre cats;) and i have some ansa test pipes, not on right now though. I have the cats.

    Ahh gotcha. I have stock precats and had test pipes for the test. Put it back to stock a few days later.

    I swapped them back bc of snog requirements here but i have tubi precats though and ansa exhaustion... i wanted to possibly put them back on to try and see what a straight pipe sound was like on the TR.
    I was also wondering if there were differences between my ansa test pipes and say Capristo or tubi?

    I think those pipes you still have are for the original cats, not for the precats what they have in US and also may be in switzerland, but not sure there

    I have tubi straight pipes precats i bought from eurospares.
    I was more inquiring on the difference between the different brands that make test pipes to replace the original cats. I see capristo cost like 800 usd, and u can also find some for 200 usd (no brands).
    I have some ansa not mounted on and im wondering if some pipes provide better sound than others etc ? Maybe stronger?

    Thats a cat delete picture. My question was to see if there was a difference of quality between brands.
    The precat delete pipes are different ;) but u guys know more than me;)

    For replacing the cats. Because they are hollow, there will be no difference other than the material of which they are made of.

    Mine are FUCHS by-the-way ... the BEST :D
