I agree, I think its the car.

It's actually a lemon-yellow metallic color, Ive seen this car in person multiple times and in it's presence, the yellow is unlike any other yellow I have seen on an Italian car, pictures do it no justice nor do they portray the car's true tint, FWIW it was a color-to-sample special order.

IMHO, red is fine, the gold - no comment.

Yves S responded to me this morning (in French!) which I've roughly translated as follows:

The picture you sent me is very recent, who is the spy who took it?!

The history of the seats:

I ordered this 1988 Countach directly from Sgarzi by paying cash and I picked it up at the factory and drove it back to Monaco.

I decided I will return the car, the factory responded that they will find a solution.

Back at the factory, they made two leather bucket seats, making the car much larger inside.

Thereafter, for the 25th, the factory sold them these as a sports seat option.

You see, I'm part of the story!

Finally, I'll tell you that I will remake my Miura SV in its original color "Verde Uccelo Del Mare" I have the exact color.

You will have to redo your book !! I'm kidding it's great, your book.

I saw HLA12149 in London when it was new-ish @ Portman's West London Service center @ 29 years ago (!) and it has been posted in the thread earlier.

Here it is below next to Denise Pearson's Downdraft, on the same E 731 KYL plates.

Having sat unused for 21 years, I agree that this is a restoration project, albeit a really good one, given that it appears to have all its original components.
