Wauw, the author of the book reacting himself. That is a real honor, thank you Mr Massini! Well, I can only bring good news. The reseller, as well as I, could not help this damage. It probably was something that went wrong only once in the printing process, because the books were properly sealed when I got them by mail. Without boring you with all the details, it was being solved fast and immaculately by Libreria Autodromo in a more than generous way! To quote Mr. Carini: I could not be happier! What a great book by the way! I am a photographer myself: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZZPNEeQuUM](HD) SCC: FERRARI 212 F1 Monoposto 1951 - V12 - GoPro - Vintage Formula 1 Car in Top Gear - YouTube[/ame] and LOVE al these old nostalgic pictures in their contemporary settings with the posing owners. I hope to film most of these surviving special bodied cars once in my life. I love them, adore them! Thanks again! Walter Duijvestijn #811
I think Making A Difference is a great volume, but it really annoys me that there is no chassis number index, and that even within the carrozzeria the chassis are not listed sequentially. So I've made a spreadsheet listing the nearly 100 cars that are identified by telaio. It lists the telaio number, tipo, carrozzerie, body style and page no. It's an unlocked Excel spreadsheet so you can sort it how you like and even add comments if you want to put more information. I hope that fellow MaD owners find it useful. I think the thread has been created to list the owners of the book by their numbers, thus "Making the difference" between the owners... Always thought the title was very clever and a very good idea although I admit it can lead to confusion.
Nr. 246 sold, nr. 37/99 added to my library. Would love to have it signed by Marcel Massini also someday.
Long time ago that i checked the new owners, here is the update for the Standard Edition and i will make a list for the Leather Edition. 2 Jean Marc Droulers 3 Gabriella De Benedetti 5 Claudio Giorgetti 44 Charles Yassky 53 Malcolm Barksdale 55 Steve Hill 65 L. Very sorry, no. Suggest Horton's Books in the UK. Usually the best for this kind of books. Marcel Massini

I noticed earlier this week that Hortons had a leather bound version of this book for sale. It was not on their website for long and has now gone, presumably sold very quickly. I think it was 34/99. I have not seen many for sale. Do they appear often? P.S. I am not looking for one!
I haven't seen many for sale. Do you remember what the pricetag was at Hortons? And no... not interested in selling my copy...
Maarten. I have tried to send you a PM but I am not permitted. I have not come across this before. Are you able to start a conversation with me that I can then reply to? Robert
