The car is close to finished. The only things that need to be done are: - Applying some original beige color to the front seats and centre console - Solving the metallic noise on the side of the belts of the engine - Washing the car for the first time Some statistics: - Sanding and repainting the car: 340 hours - Finishing the exterior & mounting all parts of the body: 80 hours - Refitting the interior and installing all electrics & making sure everything works: 100 hours - Rebuild of the cylinder heads & tuning the engine: 70 hours
Those are some serious amount of hours. I almost do not dare to ask, but do you have any approx. € figure to it?
Well, except for the engine work and sanding/painting the car, I did everything myself. I had it repainted for the price of a new VW Golf.

Great work, i bought leather dye in England with the collonny leather code for a crema interior and results are fantastic. If you want the source I will look it up for you.
Lovely car and work Stefan too! 2years ago I was looking at a gold Mondial Cabriolet for sale in the US, before I bought my Grigio QV Coupe.... Yes please on the crema leather code and source?
Ferrari leather supplier was Collonny back in those days. Ferrari Crema leather collonny code is magnolia 3997. the same color as Rolls Royce. supplier is liquid leather scuff master.
I think next week I will drop by! This is a must see! Great work and this is worth all the effort in Gold!

Thanks! Here is my arsenal of leather treatment products that I'll be using in a couple of days. I bought this set at the Interclassics expo in Brussels a week ago and the beige leather dye is the one for Ferrari! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not even one Mondial at Interclassics, a few 308-328-TR's, prices much lower than last year. Lots of Porsche's. Next year 5 hall's instead of 4.
