Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login dear FerrariChat community, I recently aquired an ‘08 Scuderia and felt it was about time to sign up on ferrariChat! Lurked on the forum for quite some time, there’s plenty of good info and experience that consolidated my choice. It was in fact an upgrade from my former Maserati Granturismo S. The Scud has always been a childhood dream of mine - it seems unreal that I got one parked in my garage as we speak! Drove it around the hills near my place in Zurich, and it’s a total blast. 4 point harness, no radio, zero unnecessary gizmos... takes time getting used to but it’s almost a ritual! Oh, and the fact that there ain’t any parking assistance sensor makes it even more of a nice experience For the current 430 (Scud) veterans: what is the nr1 advice you wish you had back in the days that I could use? Any special advice? I want to preserve this jewel as much as possible! Now away from home but hopefully I’ll be able to post some more pictures in the future! PS if there is a similar thread or if the section is wrong apologies in advance Best regards & have a nice day, Andy
Great looking car sir. They are a mega thing. Personally I would get that paint protected and a remote control for the exhaust valve. That's about it. Enjoy!
Thanks, good tip! How does the paint protector work exactly? Does it prevent scratches from small rocks and stuff picked up during driving? Vale control is already on radar - the difference is huge. Regards, Andy
Very nice Scud you have there. I did a new alignment and installed new tires (Trofeo R) on mine. Best insurance to save my butt just in case.
How you getting on driving it round Zurich / Switzerland, the Police are mega strict there so must be tough exercising 'restraint'
U are not that young for it to be your dream childhood car Great looking car! Congrats! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi all, Thanks a lot for the tips - i got in touch to get the so called ‘clear bra’, seems a good investment if you plan to go a bit faster than the usual 120kmh Here in Switzerland they are pretty strict on speeding. But we do have some nice mountain roads plus there’s Italy around the corner! Someone mentioned tires, I will do an investment when I switch to the summer set. Can’t wait to arrive home on the weekend to sit in the Scud and smell that mix of alu/carbon/alcantara... wifey is jelous already! Regards, Andy
Great car. I have a 16M and all I did was clear bra on the entire front half of the car. I left everything else exactly as the factory intended. Welcome and drive the heck out of that car.
Congratulations, you have an amazing car there.I am planning to add one eventually,i think the numbers are beginning to be close to my range. Would you be so kind to advise the approximate price, for reference? Anyhow enjoy!
Congrats. Mine has full clear bra with the exception of the roof. The exhaust was modified by the previous owner and I have awesome sounds arising from FabSpeed.
