I was never a big Green Day fan, but their first album was such a big part of my childhood. It reminds me of 7th and 8th grade so heavily (among the other bands of the time). Probably my 2 favorite years of grade school ever. 6th through 8th grade were so much fun.

Found this posted via a Rolling Stone article. Still can't believe Chester's gone. I always though AIC lyrics were such a strong indication of Layne's problems, but LP's lyrics were even heavier. And I don't think anyone really realized how deep they cut.
