I don't like the big logo stuff either, however, I admit I love rare wearables from Corse Clienti, F1 Clienti, Ferrari Challenge, FXX.....etc. Hard to get your hands on and for the most part more tastefully done.
To me, appropriate clothing is situational. In some situations, wearing a foam rubber hat shaped like an F1 car is acceptable; in other situations, wearing a subtle car themed necktie is over the line. For the record; I have worn neither.
I occasionally wear a Ferrari ball cap, but never when I'm driving the car. It seems both redundant and a bit much. I have been asked a few times when wearing it whether I actually own one or if I'm just wearing the hat.
Ha, that's funny my wife bought me a ferrari jacket. Everybody's has a different sense of taste, I say whatever makes you the happiest and who cares what others think. They're already judging you based on your car anyway.
I wear a yellow (giallo) Pilota cap that I received on graduation from Ferrari Driving School in Mugello. It has a Ferrari Pilota logo.
Indeed they do, and they are definitely in the rotation. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Many years ago, about 2006 I had Ferrari cap on and was at Disney World in EPCOT and a staff member (cast member as they like to call it ) asked me as he walked past "Do you own one sir?" I quickly replied that I did, however I'm sure plenty of F1 fans wear Ferrari caps. Do some folk think you can only wear the stuff if you own a car? Judging from the guy's face I think he was genuinely surprised and perhaps a little envious? A pathetic comment of which I have not since been asked.
This thread is ancient, but the biggest issue with Ferrari gear is that most of it is EuroUgly. Way too many racing stripes, oversized logos, etc. There's almost no subtle Ferrari logo stuff. That sort of makes sense if you're looking at the clothes as a sports fan/F1 addict, but for owners most of it is too much "LOOK AT ME!"
As one of the resident fashionistas here on F-Chat, you generally don't wear big flashy logos unless you are under 30 (and even then it's kind of lame). That being said - do whatever pleases you. If that means wearing Ferrari branded clothing - have at it!!
I have worn this Tshirt to a super snooty car show. Got some great looks from folks Image Unavailable, Please Login
