CS airbox & coolant tank

Does anyone know why the three models of the 360 have different colored air boxes and coolant tanks?

Regular Modena--black lids, black tank, black box

Spider--silver lids, black tank, black air box

CS--CF lids, silver tank, silver air box

Is it just for looks or is there a real reason like heat rejection.....


Part of my plan on my major that is currently going on is to paint or powder coat my faded coolant tank. Considered going silver instead of black

 

The silver lids on the Modena reflected to much light on the engine glass and it was hard to see out the rear. Silver lids on the spider did not have that problem as the glass is flat.

 

That's kind of what I thought would be an issue since my even my black coolant tank reflects somewhat.
