Dave, that's great progress over the last year. :D (Sorry buddy.)
LMAO This car was new when I was in high school. Now a complete restoration. I don't like getting old
Well, since TT brought this thread back to life, I guess I need to get off my butt and get back to work on this car
Some us don't spend the entire day on the couch Sometimes I think you are right I'm Days from ordering our new custom paint booth (should have been ordered today but awaiting a detail from salesman). Once installed, it should start to free up my time a bit. I'm Really looking forward to getting back to it
I think its all part of his master plan. By the time its done the value of the restore will be higher.

Tom K wants to LD his cylinders and I took the day off today with crappy weather so I banged this out. Will build prototype within the next couple weeks.
Cut me one if you get a chance. was going to make one out of an old piece of vinyl siding I cant remember if all bore bolts are the same the plates I have have 5-6 holes to adjust for different bolts on each bore
Vinyl siding? Tim you are killing me The pitch for the 355 is all the same. I'll hook you up after the prototype is proven
Will do, Jim. Thank you No Grant, a static, face seal, still needs a groove as when the oring compresses, it needs a wall to push against. In this case, I'm using a dovetail groove to retain the oring. I've designed probably 100 of these for GM for all types of manual and automated leak test and cold test applications. But, I'll admit I was a bit rusty
Dave if you get a chance can you give me a measurement of an exhaust port on your cylinder head? I'm getting 1.57 x 1.35 on the header flange and was curious if the head measured the same or if there is a mismatch.
