    where is the car? (dealer, private party, etc)

    STL Motorcars or Exotic Motors Midwest would be the most likely to have the proper diagnostic tools for a California. maybe the Maserati dealer (?)

    there are a few other shops (GLB, Reid Vann, Erwin Schwartz) that do older European car service, but I'd call to see if they have the right equipment for a modern Ferrari.

    I’m asking for a friend. He’s interested in a car at BMW dealer in St. Louis. Thanks for the suggestions, he’s going to contact them and ask about PPI!

    It's currently at the Mini dealer- at least it has been the past few times drove past. Exotic Motors also has a '12 red one I think, which might be an issue for a PPI. Jim Butler Maserati is next door if they can do a PPI.
