Well if he is claiming responsibility for the air con design, I’d like to have stern words with him :D

He left lamborghini around 91 so my guess is that if he was onvolved on the se30 was more on the carbon fiber side of things

If he did leave in 1991 that’s a long time before the SE30 was released, so I find it unlikely that the factory was working on it then.

Unless of course he went back in 94,95 as a consultant.

Miura, Countach & Diablo were designed by people working as consultants for Lamborghini and not directly for the firm, so Pagani's departure from Lamborghini in 1991 is of no consequence.

My understanding is that Pagani/Modena Design worked on the SE30's design in 1993.

I recall seeing a Press Release or some literature on the SE30 as early as 1993.

    1994 & 1995 were the production years, I think.

    Hi Jim,

I was kidding, my English sense of humour didn't come across too well there!

No it doesn't, but no worries, and it's JOE by the way :D not Jim.

Rather than speculating, we'll be asking Horacio Pagani himself about his involvement with the SE30, his own website says he was, so there is no reason to doubt it, the only question is, to what extent, super-cool either way, the man is a design icon.

Nice film by John, proud to have sold the rare-liveried Naples Show 051 twice, and 008 as well.

051 is a really nice example. For what it's worth, there were 11 purple US-spec cars made, not 8 or 9

Sort of.... there were 10 "Lambo 30" purple cars, and 1 that was very similar, but very slightly different purple. To my knowledge it was the only USA SE spec'd to a customer's order for color (that may be completely false, its just the only one I know of).

I actually signed an agreement to buy the car about 6 months ago.

Once I realized it had a bad car fax, wrong front and rear bumpers and was involved in a well known accident I just could not commit to the car.

It was actually in very nice condition, and whoever did the paint, bravo!

BUT, changing the bumpers back to original... bad CARFAX... Hard to put a real value...

    The ad says #25/150

Yes its been in an accident but I'm pretty sure this car has been gone through. From what I remember, they went through the engine, suspension, exhaust...

I think this is the car...

    What a monster!
