I am sure I will. Definitely by the time I do some suspension upgrades and throw some 16" wheels on there, it will be due for some C&C time. These are the winter wheels with snow tires.

Well, since someone else revived this thread...I'll make a correction to the above...

The 164 shares a platform with the Saab 9000 ...not the 900. It could have easily been a typo. I used to work in a Saab shop and the owner had a friend that stored, worked on, and very rarely drove three 164s.

164s are nice cruisers and the interiors feel pretty luxurious still. The Busso engine is probably the best-sounding V-6 this side of a Dino engine. If you're looking for something sportier and far more "Alfa," get the earlier rear-drive Milano. I have a Milano Quadrifoglio Verde with the 3.0-liter Busso and it's really a magical car. Far less conventional styling than the 164, but altogether a far, far more engaging car to drive.

I have had a 164L, a 164S, and a 164Q - what do you want to know? :) ;) But, my real love, in terms of past Alfas in the US, is with the Milano/75 - brilliant cars, not without its quirks, ahem, character. :)
