Looks fabulous, white lines on blue body a la ChalStrad Blu Elettrico ? Is that alcantara on the steering wheel ?
Even though it's a rendered image that blue finish looks stunning. I'm a sucker for a good blue as well, this is a winner.
Thanks, you are right, Blu elettrico with dream lines in Argento Nurburgring. Steering in Charcoal leather.
Blue is punchy, but good, interior looks a bit too busy for my taste. I’d agree on the wheels but then I’m usually a fan of lighter colours.
Everything is great but for me personally I would consider another color than the white for the interior.
I think you may have a good point, it’s possibly the blue carbon that is making it too busy. A step back to standard carbon will make the interior more cohesive. I like the interior dream lines running along the carbon bridge and steering and matching the exterior lines, wouldn’t want to let go of those. The leather is in charcoal and Grigio chiaro, a bit busy with the racing seat design, but looks very sporty.
It’s actually a combination of charcoal and very light grey but I agree it looks white in the rendering. What interior colors would you go for with this exterior?
I think it looks great, but my preference would be for diamond wheels, silver calipers and BE painted wheel caps with silver Cavallino Rampante. I'd leave the blue CF. Interior looks sharp. I would do the stripe by the glove box in black leather, as you are doing contrasting stripe elsewhere. I don't love the large areas of CF on the doors because CF just looks a bit plastic to my eyes. I think it looks good in some places, but not these large areas. I would look to lighten the doors, perhaps with your creme/white color. You could do these areas in alcantara and I would apply the same thing to the horizontal area behind the front seats.
I would change calipers to silver - the yellow does not tie into anything - some type of Ferrari silver rims might set the color off better On the next text I'm gowing to show you my 612 in pozzi Blue silver calipers and chrome wheels - completely different wheels ( congrats on such a set of wheels) but idea of colors
I think you have a great spec. I would caution that if it's white alcantara on the seats, it's going to get stained very easily. It looks sharp but you're gonna have to maintain it a lot to keep that sharp look.
The white stripe looks a bit lonely. Maybe I´d add others on the hood, roof, bumpers... But very carefully to not overdo it. It looks a bit strange that only one crease of the body has stripe and the others don´t. LaFerrari Aperta would be a good reference.
I agree with everything, except I would keep the CF standard. If interior is standard CF, then, with blue outside, you have two finishes of the same material which I believe would be messy. If all CF is currently blue then I think the interior scheme would work far better with standard black. I also echo DeSoto's comment about the dream lines looking a little lonely.
Looks fantastic! I like the wheels and callipers as they are. I know the giallo shades of the shields and callipers don't quite match, but I still think this is the best combination. Agree that the exterior dream line looks a bit lonely, but if you add too many others it will look too busy. Have you thought about a black interior with blue accents?
Wow, that’s striking. If you change the wheels to silver or gray, I’m not sure another dream line won’t be instantly too much. I like the contrast on the seats, but I may try the colors reversed, i.e. black with white stripes in the center sections. Going to be a beautiful car whichever way you go. Congrats.
Not a fan of the white stripe. Furthermore, black and blue never go too well together IMO so I'd definitely pick a different wheel color.
Agreed with you and DeSoto about the dream lines. Excellent point. I don't think he has CF on the exterior so I think as long as all the interior CF is one color it would work. I am also trying to stay with the original intent. I do think standard CF would look good here. But then you have a somewhat straightforward interior and I think this spec calls for something more bespoke. Perhaps an idea would be to change all the black areas to Blu Sterling. I would see about doing the door inserts in the white color but in alcantara, this would add some warmth to the door areas.... Excellent suggestions in this thread!
This business of color selection is a very difficult, but I really value all the suggestions and insights shared here! Thank you
