My opinion...I love cars, all of them. And I appreciate anyone who has the time/talent/desire/resources to share their passion. Even if I dont like their style, ie “Hi Guyzzz” with a lisp.

I find something to enjoy in everyone’s review, even if I think they are full of shat or have a hidden agenda.

Clarksen...I take him as an entertainer, not a car expert or passionate guy like Monkey Boy.

Shmee has tremendous passion and access to great cars, does a fine job.

Even the rich kid with the blonde girlfriend has something to offer.

If I had the time I’d make car reviews for people like me and likely get bashed all day on the web. So I give these guys a lot of credit for having the balls to do what they love.

 

I don’t let his bashing of Ferrari bother me one bit. I have a 488. I enjoy the 488. When I find something better- I’ll buy it. I don’t base my buying decision on some guy making internet videos.

I watch the videos for what they are- entertainment designed to get a rise out of the audience. It appears his plan is working on some.

 

Have you guys seen Salamondrin‘s latest video where he completely bashes on how Ferrari is behind all super car brands in terms of interior build quality, overall appeal, beeing slower etc. compared to Lamb, Mclaren, Porsche etc. Watch the video and scroll to 7.50
This guy is super rich and has owned and driven ALL super cars you can imagine and he has a point.
Ferrari is losing its edge and its true.

 

iPhone is better, no the Galaxy, no the Pixel, in 2017, then repeat for 2018, and then again in 2019...

We're in a period of rapid advancement in cars as well. A lot also boils down on what is most important to you, that will determine what is the 'best'

Salamondrin.... This guys nickname is almost identical to the our name for newts.... I couldn't care less about these Youtubers. They have absolutely no credebility although they think/mean they have. It's quite sad that people listen and "learn" from these types

It's OK not to like product A or product B. It's also OK to prefer product A to product B. But when you lash out at product A and make it very public that you can't find one single redeeming feature, then it says more about you than about the product. Sour grapes most like. Everyone's entitled to an opinion and to make videos. That's the good and the bad of the internet. And I'm also entitled to not caring about 99% of the things I hear on the internet of self-entitled experts. Nothing exempts oneself of thinking with his own head.

You know when you’re out a nice restaurant and someone walks in and they are dressed with no class, elegance or style? But, that person stood in front of a mirror and thought he/she looked great. Within their segments, they have heritage, depth, real design acumen, and they have mystique. Everyone knows they are the best and yet only a small segment of the population can really appreciate them.
