Hi Everyone, What a Journey I am having. I reset the valve clearances on my car. Replaced the ignition points both R1 and R2. I put everything back and no start. I thought is was the coils because I was getting no spark, replaced the coils still no start. Then I decided to deactivate the R2 points as I had both R1 and R2 points opening and closing at the same time. I left he R2 points touching but not connected to the rotor. My guess is that if I left the R2 points touching then would it prevent a spark from occurring. I was thinking of Just taking them right out. My guess is that my cars not starting because the timing when my points open and close is out. Any suggestion anyone.
