Numbers do matter. When the F50 followed the Mac F1 3 years later with lower performance, everyone just yawned and moved on, whether or not it was F1 tech for the road as Ferrari marketed it.
Numbers don't matter to everyone. Show me an electric car that can go 0-60 mph in 1 second and top speed of 300 mph...and I'll give a big yawn. Show me a car alive with personality and I'll open my wallet.
Agreed. When I was a teen, I didn’t have HP on my wall. I had Countach and 328 posters because they looked amazing. Power is assumed with these cars. I want to feel something when I set my eyes on it and I hear it. Of course it will have all the performance characteristics it needs. What counts is the emotion it exudes. The design is everything.
Last time I drove one I didn't feel any insulation, sound or otherwise... Okay, there might be some but it's really minimal. That said, the sound itself is not that great (compared to other Ferraris, not to a normal car), but I understand it's a matter of personal taste.
This whole guessing game for names is kinda fruitless IMO No matter what Ferrari seem to surprise us with a unique name
Just took a call from Sergio - wouldn't confirm the name, but the launch colour has been changed at the last minute from Blu Swaters to Black Sweater. Merry Xmas y'all.
Unfortunately Larry didn’t win any Formula 1 Championships for Ferrari but there is always hope Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
As in Bird? I prefer Magic as I am a chap who grew up in the '80s and was a Lakers' fan! Happy Christmas to all you lot!!!
43 pages of no real info, just gossips and rumors, LOL I think we, owners of Ferraris, have too much free time
IMHO, the degree to which HP numbers matter has changed quite a bit. These days there are many SUVs, Sedans and station wagons with over 500HP. When a guys daily is over 500hp, raw power becomes a less dear experience and HP moves down the list of important characteristics when choosing their sports car compared to what it was back when the 500e Mercedes was a shocking super sedan with a mere 322 HP.
