Who has this car now? I need an e-mail address, ideally.

    Hi Ed,

Last trace I have of it is Camberley Motoring Service, in Fleet, Hants., UK. They advertsed it for sale in January last but it's not anymore on their inventory (www.cms-gb.com). So Boudewijn' suggestion may be right.

    Best,
    Antoine

While I'm a hard-core V-12 fan, this car was a sweetheart, and surprisingly easy and pleasant to drive for a racer. Out of my price range now, I'm afraid.

Funny that no PF body number is mentioned. Neither could I find any notes for the entry in Mille Miglia. One day this can of worms needs to be opened.

Strange dampers, shouldnt there be a leaf spring at the backside?

Those are Houdaille dampers. The rear suspension is a DeDion tube w/ a transverse leaf spring. The front suspension on a Series I car is also a transverse leaf spring, whereas the Series II cars had independent coil springs. There are a lot of other technical differences between the Series I and Series II 500 Mondials.
