Image Unavailable, Please Login This is a repeat. It goes a lot faster as you don’t have to mess with the boot. The kit also supplies a wire to extend a couple of the existing wires as they are v short.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Next is the barrel connector. There are not really instructions for this in the kit so follow your nose.
Image Unavailable, Please Login This plastic thing is handy as it keeps all the wires in the right place.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Out to the freezing cold garage. Going to drain the anti freeze. My understanding is that you remove this plastic drain plug at the bottom of the big radiator.
Image Unavailable, Please Login On the other side there is a small upper radiator. This also has a drain plug however not clear how you get this out as it appears to be blocked by the oil radiator housing. Am I supposed to remove this one ? I also didn’t get “a lot “ coming out the other side. Later on when I change the thermostat i noticed there is still a lot of coolant in the block. My guess is that there is a block drain plug ? Anyone know ? I looked in the manual and this just says to contact Ferrari to change the coolant????
Next having a go at the thermostat. First I loosened the clamps for this pipe. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Image Unavailable, Please Login Pulled out the old thermostats. As you can see the rubber ring is a mess. I think this occurred when I pulled it out as the silicone was stuck to the rubber.
Image Unavailable, Please Login This is my new thermostat from superformancw. I also bought a new gasket from them. However what’s weird is there didn’t seem to be a gasket when I took the housing off the car. At the time I just assumed that the PO was lazy but this gasket didn’t seem to fit and I couldn’t see a gasket in the parts diagram. So I’m going to install the new one without.
