For someone who wants to spend the cash and have one to drive and not worry about, this would be fun. Good luck

I'd rather have that than a 599,f12, or 812. I wonder if they would take my 575,wife and some cash in trade? GTSBRUCE

Bob, I would consider real as one of the original bodies done for Ferrari in-period. This would be next best thing.

The body was commissioned by Ferrari to be a back up to replace if needed and it sat around until the 80’s when the replica was created

That's cool. More original than a current one done by Classiche.

Yes and we are still looking for a buyer. It was appraised at $1 million, but with the economy we are asking much less if you know of a buyer let me know. We are willing to negotiate with the price some

It's a very nice recreation but like all of these recreations they are not investments. During the downturn in 2000 I bought a 59 TR recreation for $125,000...one that sold previously for $500,000.

May we see the paperwork to support your claim that the body was commissioned by Ferrari. Thank you.

My guess is if you are serious about the car you will contact them direct and they can furnish you with whatever
    paperwork you desire.
No need for popcorn - too many carbs.

I don't think this is the same car as the Bonhams car. Norwood told me some of the history of this car, and it does not square with the history of the Bonhams car.

    $700K,
Heck, It's still a Ferrari, And the thrills you'll get out of it is WAY WORTH IT!
Now, you got to ask yourself: Are you doing it for you or are you doing it for what people will think of you?
If your relationship with your cars are personal and not to be social. This is a great purchase!
Who cares what other people think!
