Hi, There appears to be quite a few GT4’s in the UK that are regularly used and it occurred to me that we should maybe arrange an informal meet somewhere when the weather brightens up a bit. How many, if any, would be interested in getting together somewhere, maybe for lunch? Paul
Could it be held alongside an FOC event. There is, Ferrari Passione - Silverstone, Ferrari Club Live - Donington, Club Picnic - Stowe Gardens and the National meet. It would need to be discussed with the FOC secretary (Gary Dearn) to start with, I am also making an assumption that all GT4 owners are members. If this is too formal what about the Prescott Hill Climb breakfast club or one of the Breakfast scrambles at the Bicester Heritage. Phil P.S I own a series 1 GT4
Why am I reminded of 'The Life of Brian' ? JPF/PFJ A possible event is conceptualised and already there are two strongly opposed factions ! Presumably meeting at the Silverstone Racing Days in April would suit neither since whilst nominally not an FOC event it will have FOC input.....
Crikey, I’ve been away for a couple days. I was simply proposing an informal get-together with no affiliations to any other event or organisation. Paul
I'd be up for that. I'm pretty near you (Nottm)... But I have a GTS, so I've already broken the key criterion Has the exact same engine, though.
I'm sure we can overlook you having the "wrong" body wrapped around your correct engine. You'd be very welcome if we can actually get this thing off the ground without war breaking out. I have plenty of space (Lutterworth) if we want to meet at mine and maybe have a barbecue before going for a run out together. Paul
