Thanks for sharing Marcel. I visited the collection only once and it was a magic experience. I remember the memorabilia and models as well, like a real scale Daytona engine made out of wood.

I'm sorry somehow i have lost the concurrent list for this event -- I have a feeling this was a Belgian Ferrari 246 but not sure.

Wonderful Marcel -- Just as i remember --- after the lunch/prizegiving on Sunday afternoon 1975 Pam Crowther said dont leave yet just wait and we may get to see " the cars" -- I remember waiting in the courtyard outside the Oak Door -- the group of 10 before us came out, Mike Neilan said "your brains will melt out of your ears " . We were told not to take photos as that year Pierre was having Union trouble and didnt want any unnecessary publicity-- The police had been around all weekend keeping a very good eye on everything. On the way to Aubusson on the Friday night having picked Richard Bond up at Lyon airport, on a nice straight piece of road doing about 105mph we ran into a Police road block -- just managed to get pulled up -- wound the window down on Richard's side to have a sub machine gun poked in --- Richard who had been asleep woke up to an unforgettable view looking down the barrel !!!!!!!!! They looked in Laughed and then said " Ferrari Allez"

This collection must have really been something. In it's day impressive, but today, if it were together, quite possibly the very best. And the value! It's nice it looks like they all got exercised regularly. By the way, what does Mas du Clos mean in English?

    Thanks,
    Perry

    Disagree.
The color name is Marrone Metallizzato 106-M-73.
A total of 214 Dinos were originally painted in this color.
And 05166 is certainly not the last one painted in this color.
AFTER chassis number 05166 followed another 85 Dinos in this color.

maybe my words are been confused I didn't ment that it was originally the only or last one in this color but when the car was repaint late 90's or begin 2000 the owner wanted to paint it red but he told me that Ferrari insist that the car was repaint in Marrone Metallizzato 106-M-73 because no other 246GT was still at that moment in this color .
