For those of you who have installed the Scud Ing Swiss Smart EMT F1 Relay ECU...where did you put the relay unit itself? Do you have pics?

I tried searching, but to no avail. Even after all this time, the new forum update...ugh. No like.

    Thanks!
    Kevin

I put it between the seat railing (on the floor) driver side. Used Velcro to attach to carpet. Not the best solution but better then anything I’ve tried. Otherwise it’s just hanging

Are you talking about the relay box with the pigtail that plugs into the relay socket? (tie wrapped mine to whatever electronic thing is next to it

If you are talking about the little tattletale with the LED's, I placed it under the little cover that is over the frunk and filler lid. Pulled the two blinds out and snaked the cable back to the relay box)

Here you go Kevin, here's where I put mine. Basically it goes where the original relay goes.

Ooops, I guess you guys are asking about the ECU itself and not the relay connector, so here you go.

Then I placed the indicator light module to the left side of the driver seat on the gap between the door and driver seat floor.

    Hope that helps.

By the way, I encourage all of you to do a before and after the testing and comparison and let me know if you feel any difference in shifting after installing the Scud Ing Smart eMT F1 relay. Mine improved the shifting noticeably. Plus the features of the warning lights makes it worth it.

Thanks, Dan. Yes, I was referring to the indicator light module, but all of this helps. Do you have a pic of that?

    I should mention to people that I have a 2007 F430 Spider...

Did you guys turn the power off before switching the relay out or just pull the old relay and replace it with the power on?

Always turn battery master switch off when working on circuits with power.

    Hi Kevin, yes I do!

There's a car show here in Seattle area called "Exotics at Redmond Town Center" during summer time that's attended by lots of car fans. I put that sign on my windshield and people love it. They all smile and take photos of my car with the sign :)

One side of my sign says
"Only naked women may lean on my Ferrari".
The other side says Only naked women may ride in my Ferrari.

I can share if anyone is interested.

Location of Scud Ing Swiss Smart eMT F1 relay module.

My engine ECUs are currently out sent to Mase Engineering for software reflash. Another highly recommended upgrade for our pride and joy.

I guess I have been out of touch awhile when it come to all the aftermarket products on these cars. This sounds like something I want on my car.

I have also been out of touch on the aftermarket products... so is this only for the 430 or do they have one for the 360 as well?

I leave mine dangling in the center. Its hidden on the backseat net or resting on the center storage area. I move it around to view the indicator on how it reacts to certain driving style. It enables my passenger to pull it just enough to view without contorting their body to view it.

Carm - Base on Scuding's website, its listed for plenty of automakers and other Ferrari models (no 458 and above), including the 360.

Does shifting actually improve in slower traffic and snappier in spirited driving?

Last year, after I installed the Scud Ing Swiss F1 relay in my car I created a thread here providing my honest review of the product.

My post was deleted as the moderators felt I was promoting a specific product which is not a sponsor here in FChat.
I didnt want to get in trouble so I just let it go.

All I can say is I am 100% happy with this product.
Its completely plug and play, takes 10 minutes to install, it did improve shifting in slow driving, and it shifts snappier when car is driven hard.
But just like anything in life - your experience may be different than mine.

I wished some of you live closer to me as I can take mine out so you can try it for yourself for a week.

    Hope that helps.
