Looking back over the threads we are definitely no further forward in any certainty or facts from the 1st posts; frustrating yes but bitter sweet fun too. ... I'm on vacation in a few days and as a rule I don't go online for fun when I've got great company and on vacation - however this time will be an exception - I will continue to check for details , titbits, scraps and info whilst abroad ..... there will definitely be some late night placing the iPad on 'night mode' as the gf sleeps trying not to wake her up ...... I'm even more engrossed in Ferrari than ever and just so impressed that they've maintained the mystique , allure and desire in me from that young kid watching Magnum Pi to Miami Vice etcetc to such an extent I actually feel like a kid again when these imminent 'reveals' are about to happen . Without sounding like a sad 40something , but I'm a little obsessed ( ok very) these last 2 weeks especially . I'm a petrol head but a tifosi more so.... Although I'm sure they are awesome cars but you can keep your 720s/gt2rs - ONLY Ferrari incite , excite and stimulate me in this way . I don't have blind faith in everything Ferrari do but it's pretty close ! They've never disappointed me to this day and without sounding like a sycophantic zealot ( long words for me at 6.55 am on a Sunday morning !!!) but I Know they won't let us down with this 488 VS/Superleggera/ ( not GTO) and so il enjoy my cup of Earl Grey and Hobnob biscuit safe in the knowledge that my old friend Ferrari will deliver the promised good by this time next week.
Looks very photoshopped to me. I undertake that this is my last post until we have one real, genuine, undisputed fact aside from the fact we know nothing.....
I would guess we know that the front will look like the spy pics from some pages back - unless they make a last minute change: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145683023/ So knowing that, and that those details are not even incorporated in this render (compare the hood leading edge, for example) just confirms it's a lazy attempt to tack on 458 S bits on a 488 picture. The big question for me is how much of the original sheet metal will be retained - as in, if only the bolt-on parts (bumpers, hood) will be swapped. If Ferrari want to extend the life of this car another 2 years, I think they need to have more changes that what they did on the 458 Speciale, body-wise, and beyond performance upgrades.
Something new? Cant wait to see the car, well done Ferrari to hide it till now, good job! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

If the new car doesn't incorporat 3/4 of these design cues particularly the black stripe " a GTO style must". I'll be disappointed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are selling every single 488 they can. There is a wait list even. The car has won tons of awards. I don’t see them deviating much and changing the car before 2020 MY
I agree. Black stripe means new door and "GTO" will most likely not have new doors. Maybe on the 488 replacement, as you say.
Looks a bit like it has a bone stuck in its mouth.. Hopefully the legit 488 vs doesn't have that going on.
so the dealer preview is already ongoing - or not? will it start this wednesday. on 17th? or already today? now the waiting will be double tough. Could we know which color it got - or at least what was there to eat?
