[ATTACH] This is the color I would choose.
Very interesting. I googled saleen ferrari 308 and it didn't come up with anything. Do you have more info or a link?
I usually think it is best to just keep quiet when I disagree with things on the internet, but I suppose you've posted the photo to provoke reactions and opinion. So, here it goes ... For me, I object two ways: 1.) Black, grey/silver, white is just so every-second-car-is-painted-that-color. It is so common. I really don't like it. 2.) The body kit horrifies me. Ewww. Sorry; just my reaction.
I think he was just referring to the colour, not the body kit. Either way, that color is tempting, and with red interior, perfection. Tan interior would be a quick second choice.
Khyzyl Saleem. He’s a popular concept artist who creates photo “chops” of cars like the 308 above. http://www.speedhunters.com/2016/11/racecar-dreams-khyzyl-saleem/ If I ever get my wheel halves from Pertsch in Germany I’ll start flaring my fenders soon.
Really!!! Someone had way to much time and money to do this to one of my favorite Ferraris.. just keep it simple and original! PASS!!!!!
That's a little too much flair and dam but I do think the 308 looks or would have looked better with more flare than stock. Just not THAT much.
It's a nice undercoat for the Rosso Red! Yes, I'm one of those, "the only color for a two-seater Ferrari is racing red!" (and SS Ducati's as well...) And, no, although my interest in a 3x8 came mostly from Magnum, Ferrari Red came from long before that era.
MIKE, Put The Pipe Down. Seriously, you would need a forza 4 liter engine or a 360 transplant. That thing looks like a 200 mph slot car. 205 or 240 HP with 3200 pounds are not gonna do it. (ask me how I know), chris
As I mention on my first post, I’m only interested on the color. I don’t care so much for the body kit or flaring, I think it’s ugly too but really, I know it’s not original Rosso or red but that color is unique in someway and I really like it.
Saw this TR for sale in Seattle and liked the color. Looks a little darker than the color in the original post here but I do like both colors. If this TR had a cuoio interior it would be about the most amazing color combo ever. I think if they put this TR in the sunlight it would be closer to the car you posted maybe just not the blueish hue. http://www.parkplaceltd.com/used-cars/detail/1985-Ferrari-Testarossa/995/ZFFSA17A2F0058003
Better original: next time you will buy a 308, buy something like this... The color in the render is a mid way from two factory colors: "blu sera metallizato" (my car) and "azzurro metallizzato" ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
