Well...I just left my dealer after having some CF added to the rear of my 488, and they still have heard nothing from the factory regarding the 488(VS, GTO, WA (whatever)), nor the 488 replacement, and nothing about a dealer "reveal." They may be out of the loop, but I doubt it given the size of their dealerships. Interesting how info flows when it comes to Ferrari.

I can verify that is true. Along with the Tricolore Cup Holder option. This options allows the storage of 3 beverages instead of 1. A 300% increase over the standard car.

 

Jim, sounds like your dealer keeps his cards close to his chest. The original dealer reveal was meant to be late last year but was deferred to this week. I have two dealers I use and they're both in Maranello for the preview.

 

Probably as a result of the competition as I too heard that. Thanks to McLaren and others for upping the ante.

 

Could be, I certainly don't know for sure, my comment was more about the lack of continuity when it comes to info about new models. As usual in these situations, someone always seems to have an "in" when others don't have a clue.....

Absolutely, given the opportunity. I think I have most of the spec sorted, assuming I can get a car.

Zero facts. Same post I made when first announced. All opinion as there are no real facts just yet as we all know. Forgot to add glove box delete and no carpets.

 

I’ve heard the same as others. Meeting this week to see the car. Perhaps test drives, or ride alongs. Looking forward to all the rumors.

 

I´m not sure if the rumor mill will become better or worse after this week.

For what else F dealers around the globe are flying in? I could imagine that it isn´t all about the 488VS?

 

It is about the 488VS and it seems some dealers already know their allocations for late this year if I understood correctly but maybe that's only true of smaller markets.
