Good Morning All- I recently purchased a new to me 458 Coupe and have been reading the manuals and trying to learn the car coming from an F430 there's a lot to learn! I had PPI done prior to purchase and all checked out okay. My question is when using the TFT screens it seems that I have trouble getting the left one to activate if I'm driving. In the manual it just suggests that you not adjust when driving but doesn't lock you out. Is there any trick to operation of the screens? Thanks in advance.
On left TFT screen when trying to adjust car setup can only adjust when car is stationery as “Speed Limit”comes up on screen and doesn’t allow me to adjust settings. Is this normal operation? Also if I have turned stop and go feature on,the screen only shows the outline of car with sensors until I exceed 19 mph and then the normal touch operation enables the left screen to show the 4 functions setup,status etc. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Turn off the speed limit/ warning and stop & go feature while the car is stationary, and leave them off. Also, you may have to temporarily turn off the proximity sensors (if you have them) and you are close to anything. Then you should have better access to the TFT screens.
