458 = $50k means 360 = 50 cents

 

Wouldn't it be ironic if the price of a manual 360 of which only hundreds were made would top that of a 458 of which tens of thousands were made. I guess time will tell

In UK the gap between manual 360 and 458 is not big, 20-30k pounds.

 

That's a fair percentage though

 

25-30%, over here around 120% or more.

 

Ok...so which price is out relatively?

458 is more expensive relative to manual 360 in Australia than in UK

 

That's what I figured. 458s are holding their value here ridiculously well.

 

after talking to Mario on Monday, I think it will change this year. They already are quite motivated to shift 458s now, imagine what it would be like in 6 months time.

I thought it was $235K.....someone from here must have told him/her it was underpriced....I blame Pap.

12 months ago when prices of 355s had really gone nuts over there they were comfortably higher than lower end 458s.

Things have settled now and only the best 355s are asking more than some early 458s.

Personally I think the 458 will be a solid investment long term and is a spectacularly good car.
Frankly you’d have to be slightly bonkers to choose a 430 over a 458 if they’re the same price.

 

If you are buying modern day Fcars to make money I will tell you now for free you will do your arse.......Maintenance , insurance etc will destroy your ego when you work it out....Fcars are a passion.....If I worked out what I blew on my garage floor right now I would probably have 4 properties with a rental income and a far better investment......BUT I am here for a good time not a long time so none of my HOS F cars were bought for investment.......It's all about the passion......
