the 720s dynos @ 800bhp. it's absolutely insanely fast and it'll be interesting to see if this can match in reality (customer car v customer car)

 

That has never been Ferraris aim to go head to head on a horsepower war, so no, no chance they will match it. But they will match and beat the 720 as an overall package. Guaranteed.

Does 488 Emilia sound good? Because, now that I think about it, Ferrari used every name from circuit (Fiorano) to continent (Europa) and everything in between: town (Maranello 550), province (Modena, 360) and country (Italia, 458). Only one missing is Emilia.

It isn't bad, I love Emilia Romagna as a region, but it is also a name of person here, similarly to Giulia, moreover, Ferrari tends to choose name more italian linked than regional linked at present, after Maranello, Modena, Fiorano, can't see an Emilia coming soon

I can predict one thing- no matter what the final name endanger up being, there will be a minimum of 50 pages devoted to how terrible the name is.

"More than £215K" is not as frightening as what I am expecting, given previous comments... I wonder whether it will be in the same ballpark as the 812.

 

Their coverage is so out of date as to be embarrassing and they don't even seem to appreciate there is currently a dealer launch underway. They are equally misinformed on price. In fact the article really does Autocar no favours as far as 'scoops' are concerned and this could have been written 6 months ago. Maybe it was.....

 

So is it 720 or 750hp?
