    Oh another interesting fact. The dealership which employed the person that leaked the photos of the slide show we've all seen has lost it's entire allocation of the car! Ferrari HQ were seriously pissed...

    I sold a car outside of my dealer network that I previously worked with not local or even in NJ this dealer basically treated me like I never bought 2 luxury cars from them before or sold them other cars and spent tens of thousands with them on repairs and service. Basically treaded me like a leper when I wanted to buy a car from them lol I'm fine with that there is always someone out there that wants to earn my business lol

    I can see that... Ferrari sees the ownership of these special cars as a privilege that they give to their dealerships in their dealerships give to their clients this guy was obviously not taking this whole thing seriously. I for one I'm getting more cited about this car due to the secrecy in anticipation.

    Makes sense that neither the 2700 Vs nor the 1700 Aperta will be LE, only the very last numbered model will be LE,good luck in getting hold of that one!

    Lamborghini does this too: They check if the dealership could sell you the car (territorial mandatory) and if you are on a black list, this for every car.

    I think Ferrari marketing office is the world champion in marketing techniques: they want to sell 4000 "special" 488 and they succeeded to make you feel as if was very difficult to have one. I think that everyone that can pay the sticker price will have the car, maybe late, but he will have it.

    Depending on the tweaks done to the VS and VS Aperta (which I am assuming are quite aggressive), it wouldn't surprise me if the final LE was just a special liveried version of the VS's with very few further special enhancements.
