Down on Michigan Avenue by Motors row. I did not realize the new FIAT Alfa Romeo dealer was across the street from the FIAT showroom built in 1911 for the FIAT distributor . I am sure that is the oldest original FIAT dealer building in North America still standing. The building still needs restoration. Second photo is of the 1911 FIAT studio. They had a FIAT sign originally on the side of the building that was 2 stories high in the very old style FIAT lettering. Great to see Giulia's lined up next to the old building. Saw a GTC4Lusso near 55 and 80 on Saturday, sadly I was going the opposite direction and couldn't snap a pic. If the owner's on here, congrats!
I saw a silver F12 on York Road by O'Hare Wednesday. Also today a very nice Alfa Romeo 1750 in for some service. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My spots for the day. The sky is so crystal clear and the winter sun so strong at noon its time for some airliners. Just took these by O'Hare. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was going to Cavallino this year but everything about it seems negative again. Anyone see an up to date event car list?
What is LFSC like now as a Ferrari only dealership? (Koenigsegg doesn't really count) They have a lot of floor space. Thanks
Not that different, although they have the old McLaren section under construction. They had more newer Ferrari's on display in the showroom but no pre 1975 classic Ferrari's. Not sure what they plan on doing yet.
Two more engine shots from last week near Chicago. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login I know self-spotting is gauche, but First warm night+neon+12 cylinders+encased meats. Superdawg.
A few photos from LFSC. You can see they are well underway remodeling the old McLaren showroom. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. The place is huge!! Also went to Cooper Engineering and they had a few rare cars in for restoration. He told me not to post photos. You can see the 2 Alfa's on the top of this thread page when he was not as concerned about privacy. They were taken during an open house with Pete Brock Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
