Nope and I have a 488 already so not a factor in my case The criteria in my geo is factory I believe. Again may just be geo related
Why on earth would they name it the GTO. That would be too repetitive and silly. I doubt this is true.
I heard that to honor American support for Ferrari in F1 the are going to call it the 488 GOAT for (Gran Ommagoddo Americano Turbo)
Aftermarket cf wheels for my 458 were quoted by my dealer at $36K when I had that car 2 years ago. This is from the same manufacturer for Fords cf wheels. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Sounds about right. Is that fact and do you know if that includes local tax like VAT? I would imagine yes. So with just carbon wheels it will be well over €300k......or probably £300k which begins to make a tdf's list price look like value
The Porsche Turbo S Exclusive had carbon rims as an option for 15k Eu incl VAT. So double that for a Ferrari logo and you are right on the money Tim .
+22% IVA means 340 k euro. 488 GTB standard price (with IVA) is 225 k Euro here. Then 15 k each the five big CF pieces, 35 k the CF wheels, 10 k the software upgrade, 30 k the engine upgrade: 150 k euro more than the standard 488. 225+150=375 k euro. This is what I think Ciao
Well, if you open the lower part of an engine and spin it, you will notice that at least the heaviest part of the conrod is definetely rotating around a fixed axis... ;-)
That price sounds about right today my sales guy called me and said estimate base price is 683k US dollars...this was after their trip from Italy. Here in Taiwan car cost roughly 80-90% more compared to the US. He told me most likely there will be private viewing in Shanghai end of February after Chinese new years Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
280 K€ seems OK, but the value will depends on what is included - if everything comes at extra cost (pushing the price to more than 330 K€) it might not be so interesting after all. The carbon wheels for instance are really important for the definition of the car (it's not like cosmetic carbon replacing plastic interior trim with no other benefit than look), so they should be considered a mandatory option, and if that makes the price through the ceiling it will be unfortunate.
price will be tough thing to guess. all prices below are EU Listprices (MSRP) incl. 19% VAT at the launch year. on the one hand there are GT2RS for 280k€ and 720s for 250k€ and Ferrari would not have to be cheaper than those. on the other hand there is the history and the 488GTB pricing: the VS are normally +20% compared to their base model: F430 169.000€ 430 Scud 208.000€ 458 Italia 196.000€ 458 Speciale 233.000€ 488GTB 204.000€ (even if they increased i think already next year the MSRP with 6%...) so my guess for the GTO is between 250-280.000€ + spec and CF stuff/wheels = around 300k€ incl. VAT
