Music has been one of my hobbies for most of my life. Grew up playing trombone in HS and college. Use to give 3 finger style bluegrass banjo lessons. Have had some great vocal teachers and have been in several productions with Opera Fairbanks and Fairbanks Light Opera Theater. Looking toward to the day when I don't have to work anymore (another subject altogether). I'm thinking my daughter will probably get a scholarship to college and then I'll use my post 9-11 GI benefits to get a degree in something like vocal performance, musical theater or something along those lines. My thoughts, you're never too old to improve!
Wow, you've got some pretty heavy chops. Good luck to your daughter! I've been a professional musician for 45 years and I still can't wait to get to the gig every night. Speaking of Bluegrass...here I am, in the middle, doing my first gig at 15 years old. The banjo player was Jim Rich, a great player!
Sorry garage pic thread. Time out for a hijack!!!!!! Speaking of 15 year old gigging bluegrass musicians.......... (who would have thought we could have a thread on that) I'm the 15 YO banjo player in this screen shot from an old local tv video program highlighting local arts. Yeah, we were scared to death. My bad. Rubicon. Your passion is apparent in your attention to detail. Stuff looks very nice. Back in the day we called it 'sanitary'. Keep up the good work.
The wheels are polished and clear coated. Not concours. But I like the look better than painting that beautiful polished magnesium. Thanks for the compliment.
Just purchased 78 GTS with my 74 Alfa Spider waiting for its driver restoration. Will be going through all the systems on the 308. It has been driven only 2700 miles in last 33 years. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
