I have done a search in this section and am unable to find any information on the lighting placque located on the door jam of our 1976 308 GTB. Does anyone reproduce this?

Wish I knew. My 75 doesn't have one. Should it?

I believe it is a DOT requirement for US cars

Mine was never there since 2001 when I bought it. Does it go in the driver door jamb?

That's the door jamb plate for a Euro car, the circles are the standards it meets....

It's only on a Euro that I have ever seen one.
    Maybe Kiliminjaro Designs in Vicksburg??

You know I think you are correct. When I was doing windshield research the E plus the number was where in EU it was produced. Maybe my wording isn't correct. But yea

    As Tex said...

My '77 Euro dry sump has it on the driver's (left) side jamb, and my '77 wet sump US GTB does not have one.

Thanks to everyone for your input. Next step is to find a company to reproduce this piece. Does anyone have any experience doing so?

I may have convinced Unobtanium Supply to reproduce them.

This does look like a good candidate for my 'unscratchable' label plate process. I need to see 1 to be sure.

I'm working with font problems, but should have the AUTTOVETTURA 'VIN' door plate for the F106AB in a couple of weeks.

Interesting that it's in a different location!

That looks like the VIN plate next to it?

Correct. Just above the right rear shock mount.

Can you let everyone know how many of these plates you had made and how much they are to buy?

    Nice work.

Cannot imagine why the alternate location, except to paint??
All VIN plates are in the designated spot on the door jamb, there's also a mylar NON CAT sticker there year specific.
That's where I have seen the Circle Euro standard plate mounted, until your photo....

    A 1976 glass car, I can't speak to.

Only plate I have ever seen in engine bay pictures of that version is the Firing Order plate on the airbox snorkel.
Check in With Classic Coach, NJ...they sold and maintained a '76 'glass for decades....

    Hello Rosso,
To assist Bertocchi's project I had small runs of both of the plates discussed in this thread.. Regretfully, I forgot to announce that they were available. Here are the announcements which include ordering info.

Of course they were made with my UNSCRATCHABLE plate process, so unlike the OEM plates, the lettering & icons will not wear off.
