which looks - with those endplates like a normal rear wing - just 1m lower :D

and i do see too: a LaF / LT kind of spoiler.

this will be a good rear end! <3

Those vents look like they may just be taped over. I believe Ferrari taped over a lot of the rear so as to cover up. That is the intended purpose of the tape those vents look like they may just be taped over. Looks to me like a lot of the rear end is going to be vents. Looks good!

Well, that's just an opinion. Others find the sound tiring, whereas they always indulge in the thrill of the acceleration. Personally, I like all the aspects of driving a quick car. Acceleration is good fun, so is cornering, so is braking, so is the sound.

Everything you say is exactly correct. And notice how nobody even cared to comment on it? Very very few people remain on this forum who are true drivers of these cars. Mostly now just populated by posers, show-off's, internet trolls, and bench-racers who "need" the most horsepower for.... posing, showing off, internet hyping, and bench racing. How many in this group of 488-lovers could ring out 90%+ of a 488's capabilities at Spa or Elkhart Lake? Um, nil. There you go. Okay posers, back to your obsessing over the "latest and greatest" 488.

Yes, I think it will be very nice and very distinctive. I can make out the details of the upper vent openings but not able to sketch my "vision" now.

Cool end plates on the diffuser and very aggressive center diffuser.

That's not a fin on the skirt, just camo pattern. You can see the skirt better in the "stolen pic. It does not extend out as on the GTB so creates a large scooped out area ahead of the rear wheel spats.

I disagree... some people buy a Ferrari so that they can own the best. And to some the fastest latest and greatest equals the best. There's nothing wrong with wanting the best.

People who go to cars and coffee think people who don't use their cars are wasting their time.

All I know is that cars keep getting faster and better (better is subjective). I could just imagine if a manufacture went backwards with the same product line in HP, speed or lap time what would happen...

This car, that many badly judged as a merely tuned 488, will make many change their mind, as soon as the whole body, especially the rear, is seen in person. Will be magnificent, the first really racing inspired Ferrari since TDF, let'see if 488 can even surpass this beauty.

What's the definition of best? Best of what? Being fastest? I don't think so. Fast on where? On a racing circuit? There will be faster cars on track for sure. Fastest on a straight line? there are much faster cars for that. Greatest? Maybe, maybe not. Believe me nobody buys a Ferrari because it is the GREATEST car around. Some people buy it to enjoy the thrill of driving a good supercar, some people buy it for their collections but most people buy for reasons as Eilig described, to pose, to show-off and just to say I own a Ferrari

Spot on! The manual GT3 will outsell the PDK yet it is slower. There are many things more important than outright speed. These cars are all fast, so that’s not even a factor really. Shouldn’t be anyway. I’ll take Traveller’s TDF over anything from McLaren because I’d enjoy it even if he didn’t give me the keys!

Everyone has their own definition of "the best" for some a Ferrari is "the best". For some it's much more that that like having the latest and greatest or the fastes that's fine if that's your perception of "the best".... to me so far I like the look of the car and even though I am not in the position to buy one or even qualified to buy one rite now ... I am excited about this car like many others on this forum probably because I have been a Ferrari fan ever since I could remember. No need to bash each other's opinions ... there is an old saying... if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all" :)

I believe there are 90 for the Corse participants and they are all Tailor Made - probably a bit n the extre I don't think th
The limited edition VS will be an extreme Tailor Made version with some unique features - as I understand it there will be no performance enhancements.

The ride height look high. Wonder if it will have adjustable ride height? I doubt it since that would add significant weight
