This was discussed on FChat in 2012 when the block and heads were on Ebay at that time too. Fchat member Doctor Mark is a former owner of 07485. See here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/275-motor-on-e-bay.392797/

    Hey Martin,

Which car is this? Is it a GTB/C?

I believe it to be shortnose GTB #07459 (based on Marcello's site).

If you had a choice would you prefer to own a 275gtb/4 steel body or a 275gtb 2 cam alloy? Which of the two would you rather home?

Easy! The latter....according to a mechanic (during the Tour Auto) a 2 cam can easily be more agile and produce more hp than a 4 cam. Not sure this is true but perhaps someone can confirm.

    Ciao

Not all 275 GTB 2 cam alloy (or steel) cars are equal. There are 3 and 6 carb cars and those with the torque tube.

Fantastic!!! How exciting!!! If the 2 cam alloy car doesn't have the torque tube drive shaft which eradicated the misalignment problems of the drive shaft on the early 275 cars, being a long nose car it will probably have the "interim" solution that used CV joints at each end of the shaft to solve the problem. Both versions you're interested in are fabulous. The major factors for me would be provenance and condition over the version. Good luck in your search.
