For sale is a 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS QV. Rather than provide every detail in this post, I will offer the pertinent information here and interested parties can PM me for specific details.

First, a little background information: I have owned this car for almost 15 years (bought it at Ferrari of New England for which they took it as a trade-in). It came with some pretty good service records, including a PPI done by Ferrari NE showing excellent compression tests (150+). Since that time, I have had the car serviced mostly by John Tirrell at IFS. It has been a do-whatever-is-needed policy each time the 308 goes in for service, including the most recent timing belt service (just completed this week).

Everything works on the car (headlights, turn signals, A/C, windows, clock, etc.). It is mechanically excellent, and has always been a reliable and fun car. It looks great for a highly original 308. There are only a few minor non-factory mods, such as removing the rear bumper extenders (to tuck the bumper in a bit), and replacing the soft bellowed air intake hose with a hard one (I have those factory original parts). It won a few awards, such as a Silver Medal for its class at an FCA event.

    • 1984 QV
    • 49k miles
    • Prugna with tan interior
    • located in Connecticut
    • Jan 2018 service (timing belts, oil/fluids, new front steering rack, etc.)
    • Jun 2017 service (rebuilt original radiator, etc.)
    • toolkit
    • spare tire
    • long list of service records
    • long list of factory repair manuals, diagrams, parts lists
    • lots of pictures/images/records/misc stuff
I do have some local interest in the car already. As a stand-alone sale, the price would almost certainly start with a "6", and I would consider trade/swap/deal for a 360 spider (or similar model). I welcome all serious inquiries.

Thanks for the questions via PM. The outdoor pictures are from a few years ago, with the original bumper mounts. The indoor pictures are from last week and show the bumpers tucked-in. I have the original bumper brackets, nothing modified, just simply bolt on//off stuff. Here's a few more photos for reference. Feel free to ask any questions.

Wow - in the $60-70K range, I think this is a steal. GLWS! I have been thinking about doing the same with my '84 308QV, sell and move up to a 360 or 430.

I think "prugna" is "plum" in Italian. Prune is "prugna secca" or "dried plum" (or something like that!).
