This certainly does look like it will be worth a visit!

According to the Design Museum website, if I have read things correctly, they are listing as being there:

    125S Replica
    166 MM Touring Barchetta
    500 F2
    250 GT (chassis only)
    250 GT cabriolet
    250 GT SWB
    250 GT Sperimentale
    250 GTO
    275 GTB/4
    365 GTB/4
    Testarossa Spyder (1986)
    F40
    F1-2000
    La Ferrari Aperta.

Surely worth £18 just to see the ex Peter Collins 250 GT PF cab!

If I'd known you were going to post all those pictures I wouldn't have paid to go in last week !

Having said that you've not posted a photo of the only car I'd never seen before: the blue GTO predecessor

The Ramsay LaFA really surprised me how good it looked in both detail and colour

Not all pictures... ;) A whole lot more to see for yourself. Among them, the 'Sperimentale' or GTO prototype... :)

Fabulous photos, thank you all for posting. IMHO I think there is something for everyone in this display, even those of us who feel they have seen most of the Ferraris out there! Also, such a multi-coloured display of Ferraris is a great idea.

Joe - I think every guy would want to be Peter Sellars based on what was on the surface, however what was below the surface would give quite the opposite view. He seemed to be an unbelievably brilliant and incredibly talented individual who lived life to the full, however very troubled as well.....having said this, taking your comment in the way you meant it, yes!

I was there for the press launch and was hoping to go back again with the family. All i can say is its a WOW event, and a must visit.

I also interviewed the Curator of the show for one of my podcast episodes:

EPISODE 6 – FERRARI UNDER THE SKIN EXHIBITION WITH ANDREW NAHUM
In this episode I interview the Curator of the Ferrari Under the Skin Exhibition at the Design Museum in London. We discuss what went into putting the show together over the past two years, the design techniques used by the Ferrari designers over the years, and about the cars that have been chosen for the display. We also find out Andrew’s personal favourite Ferrari of all time.

I won't post any more pics as most of those I took are already shown above.
Was a nice morning out, doesn't take too long to go around but is well worth it.

For me, the highlight was seeing C'était un rendez-vous on a large screen - I've never seen it before so had to watch it twice!

Has anyone who has been to this exhibition been able to have a good look at the chassis number plate on the F1-2000? The angle that the car is displayed at gives a really good view of the plate inside the cockpit but it is not possible to go up very close and the lighting is not great (the stewards are very strict about no flash photography). I took some shots of the plate but the number is not readable. As the car is on loan from the Maranello museum I am guessing that the number is 199. Is anyone able to confirm this please?

    Thank you. Robert

I went to this yesterday and absolutely loved it! :)

I'm not a photographer, I only took these using an iPhone and many similar have been posted already but if you're like me you never get sick of more pics so here goes...
