Ferrari 456 cars for sale

Without knowing anything about the car 50k would be/was a steal!! Unless, of course, it was in (very) rough shape both mechanically and cosmetically (e.g. the blue 456 GT that has sat on eBay for the past several months). I wonder if even the eBay seller would accept 50k? It's been listed at $62,500 (or best offer!!) for several months.

 

Good luck negotiating on that Blu Chiaro 456 on eBay. I tried to buy it after watching it gradually go from $94K to $62.5K over the course of maybe a year. The seller, a Porsche specialist (go figure) is a real piece of work and literally made me feel like I was inconveniencing him to hand him my money and buy the car. Hence why I reckon it's still for sale and will continue to be for sale for a while yet. I enjoy seeing the price continue to drop...serves them right for how they treat customers.

Ended up buying a Blu NART '99 M instead and loving it.

Agreed. there's a number of cars right now that have been available for some time.

 

That Maroon car out in La Jolla at a dealer, sold this week. No word on the price, but I'm guessing above market.

Don’t recall what the asking price was, but he had it listed for a long time.
Dash/Steering wheel color probably held it back.
Nice car though.

1999 456M GTA

 

He showed me a black 456 a while back. He looked old and rather tired but was very patient and accommodating. His showroom in La Jolla was tiny, like an old real estate office. He went to a nearby warehouse to get the 456.

 

Right now at $40,250. With 19 hours left to go.

 

Reserve not met w 7 hours left.

 

Normally in these auctions the price jumps in the last 1/2 hour, but it's got a long way to go.

 

The site reached out and advised me as to what it would take to buy it once the auction ended and I was the highest bidder. Considering the car is actually on its fifth owner per carfax, service records won't convey, no confirmation on paintwork, and needs a major service in Q3 2018, I am inclined to decline their offer. I already have one Q4 1994 build with virtually the same miles but mine is Verde Inglese and just went through a major service so I know what I am getting into. After getting the Second Daily car up to where it needs to be, I am pushing an all-in price that is where 2012 FF's are going to be over the next few months as they continue to depreciate.

Nice car, but I'm not sold on the baby blue interior.

 

the light blue interior very acquired taste and IMO will put people off as there are plenty to chose from on the market.
Also very annoying that its listed as RHD as so many of the 456s for sale in the UK are LHD and listed as RHD.

 

Is that the one in Dallas?

Yes. They also have a ragged out 9X,XXX mile 308 that they think they're going to get $60K for.

I had not, thanks for the link. I Went to pistonheads today and saw maybe 20 cars for sale. Most were RHD but there were two LHD manual cars. Prices were about what you'd expect.It'll be interesting to see what that blue on blue no reserve car sells for next week.

 

Anybody seen it? Guy is supposed to call me tomorrow. Might trade my 308

That photo is not of an M interior. The gauges are not angled, and the radio is in the wrong place. Unless '99's were a transition model. This is an M manual.
