You're not missing much. Better than Cali, comfortable, quick and nice sound. Car is so big that the wheels look undersized.
Not sure what happened but looks like a very busy design now to me. And the wheels are undersized? Not loving it.
The reviews are disappointing in their content. They all seem to use the standard Ferrari provided information that I've already heard before. The images used in each article are pretty much the same too as if they were all provided by the same photographer. I'm looking forward to some real-world journalism video reviews, which we'll hopefully see later this month.
These are “huge” cars. Pininfarina did a good job disguising that fact with the original Cali. Not so much with the Cali T. And Centro Stile probably did the best job of all with the Portofino by making it appear smaller than it is. The trade-off is that the Portofino does look much busier than its predecessors. That said, I love everything about the Portofino except those wheels and those headlights.
I love the locale they shot the video! And I love this car! I think they did a masterful job with a difficult design mission: a car that looks great with roof up or down, that looks like a 2 seater but really has 4, that has to have supercar performance but daily usability. Tricky tricky tricky stuff. I think they carried off beautifully. Even better than the pics are the videos that show how it looks whilst in motion. I like to see both static and dynamic displays for cars.

I need to see it in person. Looking a bit busy but the color may have an effect. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The wheels are not undersized. It's just that being so big and tall below the waistline (to get the fastback look of the greenhouse) that the wheels look like 15". The funny skirt design aft of the front wheels is probably there to disguise the relative mass below the helpline but doesn't help the looks of the car.
I can't believe what I was just told today but a good friend of mine saw it an unveiling and said it looks very bubbly and round in the front. Said my CaliforniaTHS looks better, not sure I agree but will hold out judgement till I see one in person.
