Regarding the compression, not sure I would suspect bent valves. Carbon build up is a likely cause of poor sealing valve sealing and compression.

Funny how a Ferrari gets wrecked and people refuse to spend money at the time To correct it properly.

Whoever did the body work should be beaten alot.

This will be interesting. Can't wait to find out what else is under all that shoddy maintenance and repair work. I'm sure Bradan will do the car justice, and then some!

Were the accident damage and engine condition known issues, or did you guys discover them?

The worst cars are my favorite cars to tackle, its nice sorting them out to new condition again. The owner is aware of the damage and just wants his car perfect again.

95% of collision shops can't handle proper repair on exotic cars. It takes specific equipment from frame machines and welders to repair it correctly. Insurance companies are one of my better customers these days, I constantly get cars pulled from other collision shops that got lost in a repair. Theres a 360 in the shop that had prior accident damage, the frame rail was JB welded because they didn't know how to weld aluminum.

Some of the Ferrari specific equipment can be found in this thread for anyone interested. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/bradan-coachworks.565649/

Does the a.c work? Do the vent direction controls work? How about the shock actuators? power steering rack leaking?
I would think this restoration will run to almost 6 figures.

Yes, you are right! Im sure the car will be a standout when finished. The client must be applauded for his/her fine taste in cars and to commission the works.
