Hi all, I am selling my wife's 2011 Mercedes E350 Cabrio. It is white with Almond interior and cafe au lait canvas top. It just went past 51k miles. Tires are 6k old and under guarantee at Discount Tire. The car has always been garaged, and has been well maintained and cared for, with the last service done in mid November 2017 since the present extended warranty expires this December. Everything is up to date and functioning. Some curb rash on the rims. A couple small door dings, and the rear flexible bumper has an area of cracked paint. I value the car at $25k, but for chatters I will drop this price. it would make the perfect Christmas present for your wife, girlfriend, daughter, mother, mother-in-law (well maybe not that last one).
Man, this is really tempting to pick up for my girlfriend or my mother! But I should probably be disciplined and not do it. GLWS
come on over and see it. the only reason i am selling it is that after buying the fisker and deciding to keep it, i have no more garage space. i have 2 cars at driver's source eating up money every month for nothing, and 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the street. i do not want this car sitting outside and suffering, so it is on offer. i have thought of selling the CL550 too, but right now, this is the one i have advertised. pm me if you want to see it. thanks
yes. sorry i was in nyc for a few days. pm if you like and i will give you my tel number. am showing it to a couple people tomorrow.
I’ll check with the boss, but she’s partial to SUVs. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ross, Two door Merc cabrios, (E and CLK) in SW FL are a dime a dozen. We've got used ones falling all over each other trying to get sold here. This is not the place for you to get top dollar for that car. If you can, leave it in Texas, sell it there. Run a search on cars.com for coupe and convertibles; there are just a **** ton of low miles cars like this you'll be competing with. It's a different market here, and you know that. Lots of these cars are snow bird cars with low miles that get sold this time of year. Toss in the cars that outlast their owners that get dumped on the market and well, you can figure out the rest. You have the right light color combo, but I fear the sheer number of cars it'll run up against may hurt your selling price. If I didn't have my very nice CLK, I'd be lookin' at your car as soon as you hit town. Dave
i understand your argument dave, but look at autotrader: here you have the search for a radius of 75 miles around naples, and there are 34 mercedes E350 cabrios at an average price of $37.9k and a low price of $25k, so if i move the car, (where i have free storage), and am happy with the same price, then i am the cheapest car within 75 miles. and it should be a more popular car in that market than houston - maybe especially now in season. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/Convertible/Mercedes-Benz/E+350/Naples+FL-34102?zip=34102&startYear=2011&numRecords=25&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&vehicleStyleCodes=CONVERT&firstRecord=0&endYear=2015&modelCodeList=E350&makeCodeList=MB&searchRadius=75 whereas here in houston, there are 31 cars within 75 miles of my house, and the average price is 31.6k, and the low is 15k. i think mine is about the 4th from the least expensive, and has fewer miles, better maintenance/care record, tires, and better colors, but it is still not yielding much more than random tire kickers. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/searchresults.xhtml?zip=77401&startYear=2011&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&vehicleStyleCodes=CONVERT&incremental=all&firstRecord=25&endYear=2015&modelCodeList=E350&makeCodeList=MB&searchRadius=75&Log=1#475147604 but maybe Dale bids me an acceptable number and it stays in texas
Wow, what a difference 75+ miles makes. Farther north they're in the low range for clean cars. Granted, some are higher, but more seem to float around $24-28K, and don't sell real fast. Either way, it's a shame they don't fetch more, they really are great cars, especially at this money. Don't know why yours hasn't been snatched up. D
Price dropped to $22,950 Don't feel like braving the trip this week. Bid me. I am vulnerable! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I have been informed that carfax states there was a minor accident a year ago. This is technically correct; another car nudged the flexible rear bumper and cracked the paint, and I claimed the repaint on insurance. The same thing happened again recently, but I have not bothered with the insurance this time, which is probably a good thing! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
