I'm am sure with the white metal frame a lot of adjusting will be needed, or you could buy the Monaco or Italian GP versions wich have no bodywork in that area.

More photos of the Hiro 156 . Looks pretty good. Several versions available. The wire wheels are 130 parts each and after doing a set can say they are hard to make, but they look real if painted. Modellbauwerkstatt-Trape are developing a detail set for the Model Factory Hiro 1:12 scale Ferrari 488 GTE Le Mans kits. Kits will include photo-etch, machined, and 3D-printed parts. No price set yet but I've been told about €350. While on his site take a look at the detail sets for the Porsche 956 and the Lotus! https://www.modellbauwerkstatt-trape.de/leistungen-projekte/beispiele-einzelanfertigungen/ferrari-488-gte-1-12/
More Profil 24 Ferrari 250LM 1/12th photos. I like the long nose, but its hard to tell with the wide angle lens. I also bought the Maserati 151 they made in 1/12th and I figured out where the error was made on the body. The front fender does not come back enough and also the windshield is to rounded on top of the window frame area. If you buy either of the 1/12th Profil 24 kits use the Hiro wire wheels in place of the kit wires. Hiro wires are around $125.00-$150.00 US. Well these look very interesting, and I completely agree that it is really impossible to judge with the way they shot these photos. Wide angle lens + odd angles of the photos + not great lighting = maybe good, maybe not so good? On another note....I had been in contact with them long before Retromobile, and proposed a deal which was that in addition to their making and selling these 250 LM kits, that they would also make limited built models of the 250 LM's just for my company, which I would market and sell..... Well I was surprised to see on their web site today that for just these 1:12th 250 LM's ...that in addition to the kits...they are now going to offer them as limited built editions..... So much for ethics (read lack of ethics). I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't for the fact that I had proposed this idea to them, and they had replied favorably about us working together, etc. Oh well, that's all part of the model business - good and bad.

Several people think the 1/12th picture is of a Hiro Porsche 917/30. We will see. I would really like a 917/10 in 1/24th or 1/12th.
SMP24 1/24th Alfa Romeo Montreal kit. Wish they had done photoetch window frames in the kit. A very nice kit but the Quattroroute/White box 1/24th scale diecast is also perfectly shaped. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Any word on if Profil24 plans to reissue the 312P? I missed the first run. Anyone know of one for sale? -F
Nice detail set and I assume it will make for a nice model. But is the 488 GTE that compelling a car? -F
