I need to change the O-ring that goes were the shift shaft goes inside. It's a 1970 L series car.
Anybody knows the correct ID and OD of this O-ring ?. Regards, Alvaro

    Hi Alvaro,
From my notes, supercedes to Ferrari part #10257060.
    25mm O.D., 2.9mm thick.
If you look at an o-ring supplier, 3081 is the part as it’s a standard o-ring.

    Regards, Andrew

Thank you very much Andrew. Yes, in the Spare Parts Manual the part is 3081 but
it's a good info that is the number of a standard O-ring.
    Regards, Alvaro

    Hi Andrew:
I was looking on Internet at an "Italian O-ring sizes" table and it show 3081 with an ID 20,30 mm and CS of 2,62.
This is very different to the CS and OD you sent me. What do you think?
    Regards, Alvaro

Ah yes, the sizes I gave came from my notes and these were measured dimensions of the old O-ring and are approximate.
This was the table I used but I see the company went out of business but there is a backup here:
    https://web.archive.org/web/20160820180102/http://mdmetric.com:80/or/ita2gb.htm

All the o-rings for 206/246 L-series are in the table above using the standard italian part# from the parts manuals.
    Best, Andrew

Thanks again Andrew. The table I saw is similar and in both tables are the same dimensions for 3081.
    Regards, Alvaro
