http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2018/02/12/ferrari-flies-through-air-as-london-police-seize-it-with-crane.html I searched around and didn't see it posted, just saw this on fox news and recognized it was a speciale aperta all bc the owner didn't have insurance?!?!
Car Insurance in the UK is compulsory and it is a pretty serious offense if you don't have it. I've seen an R8 being impounded in this manner and it is really a sad sight.
Nice to know they take it seriously unlike the US. I was told by my broker that insurance is so expensive in miami beach bc 70% of drivers dont have insurance so there is alot of risk to insure a ferrari. If they did that here they would be towing all the cars.
I think this may 'Fake News'. I read somewhere that it was lifted becase it was parked illegally!! Then again that could also be 'Fake News'
Who owns this car, and why are they driving it without insurance? http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2018/02/12/ferrari-flies-through-air-as-london-police-seize-it-with-crane.html Image Unavailable, Please Login

The owners son was driving it, he couldn't prove it was insured for him at the time but this was sorted and the owner collected it back from the police pound.
