Sorry to report this crash last hour with fatality on Chautauqua near Sunset. http://ktla.com/2018/02/13/1-dead-2-seriously-injured-in-pacific-palisades-roll-over-crash-involving-ferrari-lafd/ Photo Credit: KTLA
Anyone know the driver? I'm active with the 355 crowd but I didn't recognize the plate number. The new report indicated that the driver lived in the Palisades.

I just saw this on my local news: The accident happened in Pacific Palisades Condolences go out to the family. http://ktla.com/2018/02/13/1-killed-2-seriously-injured-in-ferrari-rollover-crash-in-pacific-palisades/
Horrible accident. My condolences. Driver was 71 yr old male, deceased. Bill Haas was the passenger in the hospital with serious injuries. Woman in BMW also injured.

Yikes. Hate to see that. Been driving little cars since I was 16. Takes a whole different set of situational awareness skills. In today's world of texting and big BMW's and Escalades it takes even more now. Be careful out there kids.
Golf Channel is reporting golfer Bill Haas was a passenger in a Ferrari that was involved in a fatal crash that killed the driver near Riviera Country Club.
I came here curious too. It was reported in our local news due to the passenger being from a PGA family that lives locally here in SC. Prayers to those involved.
KTLA is reporting that the passenger of the Ferrari is pro golfer Bill Haas and the driver was killed.
Bill Haas was not in the Ferrari but a separate car as was Luke Wilson http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/14/luke-wilson-pro-golfer-bill-haas-involved-in-deadly-ferrari-crash-in-california.html The Ferrari driver is apparently the fatality. Looks like a Rosso Rubino 348 of 355 per the pictures in the link above.
Also posted in 348/355 section. As I stated there as well, look for the morons on Jalopnik to start a thread trashing Ferraris and their owners.

The stories I always hate to see. Some of the news stories have Haas as a passenger in the Ferrari while also saying he's been released from the hospital. Doesn't seem likely both are true. Looks to be a maroon 355. Driver age 71. Not a good time for his friends and family. Thoughts to them.
According to ESPN Bill Haas was a passenger in the second vehicle involved. Not the Ferrari. There was a third car involved as well driven by the actor Luke Wilson.
Just saw this in the news: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/14/luke-wilson-pro-golfer-bill-haas-involved-in-deadly-ferrari-crash-in-california.html Jim
The golf channel states that he was a passenger in the Ferrari and the he was staying with the guy driving the car that died. It hit a bmw head on but no details as to why yet. Haas was released from the hospital but the female driving the bmw is in serious condition.
At least the airbag deployed from the pics....article does mention speeding... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-5390545/World-No-67-golfer-Bill-Haas-involved-fatal-car-crash.html
