This: http://www.davidbrownautomotive.com/speedback-gt/ Personally I really don't like the idea, or the look, of a pastiche DB5 and I couldn't afford one even if I did. But if I did, and I could, I would find the name very off-putting. "Speedback" sounds really crass to me. What do you think?
I had a good look at this car at goodwood fos 2016. It was a very well made car indeed, it had some nice touches like the picnic seats in the boot. The fit and finnish was top draw. I loved it, hated the price, made my eyes water. Top gear or 5th gear did a review of it 3 years back.
I don’t think the car looks good in the pics, a poor interpretation of an absolute classic. Not that I have to worry about that as I will never be able to afford one. That said, I think it’s great that companies still exist in this world of mass produced junk that are making unique cars like this with what appears to be real skill and craftsmanship.
